The Topping A30 Pro is embedded with the redesigned NFCA (Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier) based audio circuit. This circuit is optimised for stellar performance with super-clean and crisp output. Topping A30 Pro is an incredibly powerful headphone amplifier. It can power hard-to-drive headphones without any trouble. It outputs up to 6W at 16 ohms of load, 5.5W at 32 ohms, 840mW at 300 ohms, and 420mW at 600 ohms of the output load. Ground loop noise most often manifests as a buzzing or humming sound, which is loud enough to damage speakers or headphones. The Topping A30 Pro solves this issue with a dedicated GND/LIFT switch on the rear panel. When in normal use, set the switch to GND. If you encounter ground loop noise, flick it to LIFT, which will change the ground point of the A30 Pro from its chassis to the equipment it’s connected to, eliminating the noise.

The Topping A30 Pro is designed to be compatible with various headphones and to enable this, it features 4-Pin XLR + 4.4mm and 6.35mm outputs. You also get RCA and XLR connections for the input stage. The inclusion of these outports allows you to connect virtually any headphone without compromising on functionality or quality. The Topping A30 Pro headphone amp provides Three-Step gain settings with -14dB, 0dB, and +14dB gain modes to switch for use with IEMs or high impedance and full-size over-ears. When powered down, the A30 Pro passes the input signal directly to RCA or TRS connections without applying amplification.
