DESCRIPTION

The Shangri-La is not just a headphone. It is a combination of an over-ear with a special tube amplifier that offers a sound worthy of it. This custom-made amp features the finest 300B tubes for an audio quality like none other.

Say goodbye to noise, even during the slightest change in volume. The 24-step level of volume control uses 23 separate resistors. This makes each volume level independent of the others.

For the best sound experience, the Shangri-La comes with a diaphragm that is so fine (0.001mm), it is thinner than a strand of human hair. It has a nanoparticle coating which enables it to move extremely fast and gives you an unsurpassed high-frequency response.

Enjoy music that flows through a range of frequencies from 7Hz to 120KHz. Like the diaphragm, even the metal mesh stators have a super-fine grating that let sound waves lower than 1 million hertz pass through without any distortion. The stators are crafted using a specialised metallic alloy. This gives you sonic stability with acoustically transparent audio.

Most headphones/amps come with transformers and capacitors to increase the voltage and drive the diaphragm. The Shangri-La has neither. Thus, nothing comes between the headphone and amp and you can directly listen to the four 300B vacuum tubes.

The Shangri-La has been designed keeping in mind long music-listening sessions. The headphone is lightweight while the soft head pad is adjustable and ensures supreme comfort. The open-backed design gives you a view of the driver hard at work. Visitors are certainly going to come over for a second look.
