DESCRIPTION

The FiiO FA7S is equipped with six high-quality Knowles balanced armature drivers. Each set of drivers handles a specific frequency range, having its sound chambers to minimize frequency interference. The pair utilizes 2 Knowles HODVTEC-31618 bass drivers that provide an extremely robust low-end response with audible extensions. The high-frequency is smooth and detailed, produced by the 2 RAD-33518 Knowles treble driver set. For the midrange, Knowles developed a custom driver set for the FA7S delivering quality performance as a whole unit.

FiiO has expertly tuned the FA7S with a three-way electronic frequency crossover with a 2+2+2 design. This design helps better present low, mid and high frequencies and separates them efficiently. This means each frequency range takes two different drivers which are designed in an electronic and structural crossover system for precise cutting – thus resulting in a more realistic, balanced sound fully capable of rendering every last detail and emotion of your music, just as the artist intended.

FiiO designs its products with exquisite craftsmanship and precision. The FA7S is made out of medical-grade 316L stainless steel material using a powder metallurgy process. FA7S adopts FiiO’s 3rd generation industrial-grade design with its distinct elements like Y-shaped elements, the 120 degrees angles and try-circular faceplate. The pair undergoes multiple processes such as 1000°c of high temp sintering after injection moulding and more to achieve a well-finished final product. The rear cavity is hand-polished for a mirror-like finish and the faceplates are made using a five-axis CNC machining process. FA7S earpieces go through a PVD electroplated coating for improved rigidity.

FiiO FA7S comes bundled with a high-purity silver-plated mono-crystalline copper cable as its stock cable. The cable consists of 8 strands of 19 wires each collectively making a 152 wire cable. Each wire here is individually isolated and braided together in a Litz pattern. It has environmental-friendly TPU outer sheathing for a soft feel and removes any microphonic issues. The cable has angled MMCX connectors for easy connectivity. The expanded angled MMCX connectors with the left “blue” and right “red” indicators make it easy to connect and detach the FA7S, while the curve of the ear hook is based on scientific research to make it conform comfortably to your ears.

The FiiO FA7S is officially Hi-Res Audio Certified, a testament to its ability to present rich musical details with superb sound quality. The FA7S comes in black and gold – the PVD electroplating coating process added black elements to achieve an overall bright and transparent mirror-like appearance. In addition, the specially selected gold mesh on the base echoes with the exquisite black faceplate – this elegance is only for your preference.

The FiiO FA7S ships with much-needed accessories and an easy-to-store water-proof carrying case, making it easy to carry the IEM and personalize it to your taste. There is one water-proof carry case included with a variety of ear tips like – 3 pairs of balanced ear tips, 3 pairs of bass ear tips, 3 pairs of foam ear tips, and a pair of dual-flange ear tips. The package also includes 3 pairs of twist-lock swappable connector plugs – One 2.5mm balanced plug, One 3.5mm single-ended plug, and One 4.4mm balanced plug. There is also a cleaning brush, MMCX removal tool, and a magnetic cable clip included in the package. This is thoughtful and reduces the need to buy extra accessories.
