Sonos introduces the all-new Class D amplifier – the Sonos Amp. Enhance your home audio with this Class D amplifier with its 125W of power per channel. This versatile amplifier is made to power your bookshelf, floor-standing, in-wall, and in-ceiling speakers Sonos Amp lets you enjoy the high-resolution sound from your bookshelf speakers, TV and other passive components. You also get Wi-Fi connectivity with support for multi room setups and wireless streaming via AirPlay and the Sonos app.

Sonos Amp packs 125 watts of power at 8 ohms per channel which deliver high-fidelity sound even for the most demanding speakers. Connect everything from your passive speakers and TV to a CD player and turntable and experience distortion-free audio. Sonos Amp comes with direct digital input which eliminates the need for analogue conversion to deliver clear undistorted sound. These features make the Sonos Amp truly versatile with endless possibilities of fitting into your Hi-Fi audio setup.

The Sonos Amp is engineered to power your outdoor and indoor speakers with ease and the embedded HDMI ARC lets you connect stereo or surround sound to your TV for shows, movies, and games. Use any standard HDMI cable and the Optical Audio Adapter to connect Amp to your TV’s optical audio output if your TV doesn’t have an HDMI ARC port. The streamlined set of ports make any setup simple and allow easy cable management. Threaded connections for left and right channels are standard diameters so you can remove them and use your banana plugs for connectivity. You also get a line-in connection for easy connectivity.

The Sonos Amp offers Wi-Fi connectivity to connect to your home Wi-Fi network with any 802.11 b/g/n routers. You also get dual Ethernet ports that can connect the amplifier to a wired home network and allow for the connection of additional Sonos products. With Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity you can easily stream the music you love effortlessly and also regularly update your Sonos Amp software. Wi-Fi also offers seamless control of your Sonos system alongside all your smart home devices. Play music, podcasts, and audiobooks from hundreds of services. Plus, explore thousands of live stations, expertly curated music, and original content on Sonos Radio.

Sonos Amp features touch-sensitive controls that allow you to access functions on the device. Tap or swipe the front control panel to pause the music, adjust the volume, skip a track, and more. You also get hands-on tactile control with the touch controls and that elevate the experience of operating the Amp. You can also send sound directly from your iPhone, iPad or Mac with Apple AirPlay and then ask Siri to control it from your device. This enables easy wireless connectivity for you to enjoy your music.
