DESCRIPTION

The M-Series ATH-M40x professional monitor headphones are tuned flat for incredibly accurate audio monitoring across an extended frequency range. Now enhance your studio experience with superior sound isolation and swiveling earcups for convenient one-ear monitoring.

The drivers used in the ATH-M40x are 40mm large and custom made drivers with copper-coated aluminum voice coils and rare-earth magnets. They’re fine tuned to deliver a superior sonic experience!

The M40x is tuned flat for incredibly accurate sound monitoring across the entire frequency range spectrum to produce stupendously clear, clean and most of all, balanced. You can distinctly hear bright sounding vocals and instrumentals in a single track – which creates a large sense of scale that’s obviously the exact opposite of cluttered and muddy-sounding audio.

 The M40x, even though made of plastic, is known for its use of high quality textured matte construction and overall solid durability. The Pro grade material has been used for the ear cups as well as the headband.

 The cups literally contour your ears and place them inside an air-tight enclosure that feels plush and comfortable. There is no pressure being placed against your ears as a roomy interior is provided. Circumaural design contours around the ears for excellent sound isolation in loud environments.

 The M40x includes two cable options: 1.2 m – 3.0 m coiled cable and 3.0 m straight cable. The 3m straight single-side cable is designed to make the headphones convenient for studio tracking, mixing and field recording. They are very convenient in terms of usage and make life simple.
