Astell&Kern has collaborated with Jerry Harvey Audio to offer the Laya AION IEMs. These earphones, when used with an Astell&Kern player, give a realistic music listening experience. They are a combination of the Layla’s sound signature and its evolving technological processes. In addition to this, they have a stunning red and black Pearloid faceplate design along with chrome logos.

The Layla AION is equipped with soundrIVe™ Technology, using JH Audio’s proprietary mini triple quad driver (12 drivers) configuration. freqPhase™ corrects the time and phase of multiple drivers while the Waveguide ensures each driver signal arrives within 0.01 milliseconds, resulting in a phase-coherent IEM. It comes with a Sonic Tube Chassis™ housing & Acoustic Sound Chamber™ with a recessed tube system i.e. 3D printed chambers house the drivers while keeping sweat away. It also makes extensive cleaning easy.

The OFC 4N silver-plated cables and German-made, military-grade iridium connector offers amazing grip while plugging the earphones in and out. It houses an O-ring that resists sweat on the earpiece and the cable. It has a non-oxidizable cable along with a memory wire that fits securely around the ear.

Each Layla AION has to go through multiple processes to achieve its standardized quality. It starts as a carbon fiber block formed by compressing hundreds of layers of resin-infused carbon fiber fabric. From the initial machining process to the hand shaping process, these are hand-assembled using state-of-the-art equipment in Orlando, Florida by talented engineers who are credited with the production of JH Audio’s custom IEMs.
